1. The Haunting Of Hill House
This show focuses on the haunted lives of the withering Crain family. Going back and forth between the summer the Crain’s spent in the haunted mansion, and the years of grief and family trauma they endured in the aftermath. Led by a spectacular cast, the series ranges between emotional revelation and moments of horror that will give you full-body chills. It’s a moving and honest portrayal of mortality and grief that is undoubtedly going to give you a lot of nightmares!
2. Chambers
After having a cardiac arrest, a teen gets a heart transplant to be able to survive. She later becomes obsessed with the mystery surrounding the heart that saved her life. As she gets close to figuring out the truth about her donor’s sudden death, she begins to take on the characteristics of the deceased donor, including some that are threatening. This series envelopes a number of genres like horror, thriller – psychological and otherwise and mystery and once you start watching it, you won’t be able to stop until you reach the last episode!
3. Scream

This horror series based on Stephen King’s novel of the same name. Trapped by a mysterious fog, residents of the Maine village discover that it hides nightmarish creatures. The Mist is one of the most sinister shows to hit the TV screens in recent years! The lead character of this show is actually The Mist but nonetheless, the actors are good too! You are going to enjoy watching this gripping series but also be prepared for some nightmares, especially when you see Mist outside!
6. The Glitch
A police officer and a doctor have to deal with an emotionally fraught mystery when seven of the towns local residents inexplicably return from the dead in peak physical form. Mind-boggling, isn’t it? At first, the idea may seem ridiculous, but when each character’s story starts to unravel, which by the way would be really relatable and heart-wrenching, this show is going to get you hooked. Unusual, entertaining, engaging and heartbreaking, this show is going to make you feel things you didn’t know you were capable of!
7. Dark
A missing child sets four families on a frenzied hunt for answers as they unearth a mind-bending mystery that spans three generations. With a relatively simple plot that is made to feel new again, this is a well developed and thought out show with complicated characters. The characters are deeply flawed with memories of their failings and regrets and the pain they have caused one another throughout the years. Nobody is truly innocent in this show and everyone has something to hide. This is a great show, one that requires all of your attention so leave everything you’re doing and get to it!
8. Diablero
A young priest counts on a demon hunter to find a young girl who disappears under mysterious circumstances. The demon hunter is know for his unorthodox methods. Also available in English, we suggest you watch this show in Spanish with subtitles for the most authentic experience. This show is a combination of great acting, a tasteful and unique story and will drive you straight to the Mexican underworld. This series is so good that it will leave you begging for another season!
