We feel that this place is really underrated, despite being located at the hot spot of Safdarjung. Their Smoked Pork Curry and Jhol Momos( momos that are drowned in a bowl full of sauce) are a must try. 3. Oh! Assam
Hidden in Safdarjung, this little Assamese eatery looks promising. Oh! Assam is all about the delicious and authentic food that you will not find anywhere else. Their menu includes dishes like Pork Dry Fry, Liver Fry, thalis like pork, chicken and Smoked Pork made with dry bamboo shoot all are prepared in traditional Assamese style. 4. Bambooshoot Kitchen
The name says it all! They’ve got dishes from Nagaland, Assam, and even Manipur on their menu. This small Lajpat Nagar eatery serves amazing preparations with the bamboo shoot as the star ingredient. Steamed Fish with bamboo shoot, Pork Curry, Boiled Chicken are some of the fast movers. However, their reasonably priced Assamese thali is also worth a taste.
