With the Diwali festivities over, it’s natural to feel quite low. You know, back to the daily grind and hustle can be quite a bummer! But thankfully, our city has some kickass events lined up in November. One of them being the North East Festival. This is the 7th edition of the fest and it aims to create awareness about North East India and to promote tourism in the area. The North East Festival – Celebrating People, Celebrating Life is back again with their 7th edition! It’s an attempt to create awareness about North East India and to promote tourism. It’s one of the most awaited festivals and boasts of high-quality music with some legendary and really cool acts. And this year, The North East Festival will be creating history recalling it’s a glorious and successful journey of the past 6 years.
The three-day extravaganza- biggest ever on North East India witnessed a Carnival of North East folk music, ethnic dance, a performance by top musical icons, ethnic fashion show, North East Foods, tourism, etc. There’s going to be a lot to witness so don’t miss out on the golden opportunity.
Music, Exhibitions, Music & More
Peeps, there are tons of activities that’s gonna happen here – food, music, exhibition, folk dance, photography, film, fashion, art, workshop, and national-level seminars, among more. And through this festival, they will be able to attract the kind of tourism which the North East truly deserves!
There will be awesome music artists like Papon, Zubeen Garg and Rocky Rdr Lama, MTV Hustle Fame Island Warrior, Ace aka Mumbai w/ Dj G-glock, Neel Akash and more will be performing here. Apart from music, Delhi’s best northeastern designers like Bambi Kevichusa, Elizabeth Marbaniang, Thingamla Adrianne Keishing will be showcasing their garments.
