To date, the MCU movies have fallen under three Phases: Phase 1 introduces us to each of the Avengers, Phase 2 handles the fallout from The Avengers, and Phase 3 features an uneasiness among the superheroes after Avengers: Age of Ultron (and introduces more heroes), leading us into the showstopping Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame..

Spiderman: Far From Home, releasing the 2nd of July, 2019, is the last movie in phase 3 post which phase 4 will kick off.

  • he Eternals – The superpowered beings called the Eternals are on the way. They are a race of immortal people who lived on Earth and shaped its history and civilizations. In the comics, The Eternals are usually depicted as warring with the Deviants to protect the human race. So we are guessing we will see a similar storyline in the movie too!

  • Black Panther 2 – A no-brainer, given that the film broke records for the superhero genre and also landed a historic Golden Globes nomination. We are super excited for more tales of Wakanda

  • Doctor Strange 2 – Benedict Cumberbatch was great in Avengers: Infinity War, but his first film is one of the ones that has just sort of been forgotten, hasn’t it? So, of course, it deserves a sequel!
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – All eyes were on the return of Star-Lord and co in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, and after its success, we know for sure there is a third one!!

While we don’t know much, but whatever little information we have has already got us excited for phase 4. We hope it doesn’t turn out to be a long wait. For now, let’s wait it out for Spider-Man: Far From Home!
