For he unaware, a character modelled after Keanu is going to be in the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 game. There’s a lot which has been happening around both the game and Keanu. Here’s all you need to know about the game and why it’s taken social media by storm!
What’s Cyberpunk all about?
Well, it’s only the coolest video game ever! Cyberpunk is a role-playing video game and Cyberpunk 2077 is the sequel to the previous version- Cyberpunk 2020 and Cyberpunk 2013. Cyberpunk 2013 is the first edition of the popular game and was introduced way back in 2013. So, you see, a lot of history attached here!
Designed by Mike Pondsmith, and published by R.Talsorian Games Inc, the video game is till date everyone’s favourite.
Cyberpunk 2077 entered pre-production as soon as Mike’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine was finished. And trust us, it’s much more happening than the entire The Witcher series. Unlike the last game, The Witcher 3, which featured a very flat map, Cyberpunk 2077 is very vertical with buildings just to pump you up more in the game. The Witcher series is an action role-playing game which includes a mission system and is super challenging to play also.
All About Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is a CD Projekt RED’s newest and upcoming role-playing video game. Created by Mike Pondsmith, the world of Cyberpunk is just similar to Blade Runner (Fantasy/Sci-fi movie) series if you are familiar with it. And you know the best part about the game? Guess what Keanu Reeves, also has a starring role in it! And yes during last year’s E3 Cyberpunk 2077 was initially revealed in a 50-minute gameplay demonstration but came in action recently.
And now comes what’s all in the game?
In Cyberpunk 2077, you will play as V, an urban mercenary and cyberpunk who takes on dangerous jobs for money. And you even get to create your own version of V, be it male or female and you will also find some bisexual characters too. All you have to do next is to choose V’s backstory, and the reason for visiting Night City, which is the main area you explore in the game be it for romance, or revenge.Â

There are three classes in the game — Solo, Techie, and Netrunner which will give you more kickstart to play the game. The Solo class is focused on combat; Techies are focused on gadgets and machinery; and in Netrunners you can hack the computers, robots, or even get into people’s heads to manipulate or kill them.
We know this is making your more excited and pumped up but there’s a lot more to this! Such kind of video games have always made more curiosity and for Cyberpunk, we have been waiting for ages now.
The trailer of Cyberpunk 2077

The trailer was released during Microsoft E3 conference, which was held a month back. The Hollywood star Keanu Reeves pops up at the end of a new Cyberpunk 2077 trailer and he’s playing a prominent character named Johnny Silverhand.
Release Date And Where to Play
Yes yes, don’t worry it’s not releasing in 2077! Cyberpunk 2077 is all set to release on April 16, 2020. And that’s only a few short months away. So, guys & gals, lock in your pre-orders now, it will be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
