We found this cute little spot in Delhi which serves homemade ice cream in coconut shells rather than plastic cups. Keep scrolling to know where you can find this eco-friendly ice cream joint!
The Unique Eco-Friendly Concept
Tucked in Okhla, located next to Sukhdev Vihar Metro Station, you can easily find this joint called ‘Jaatre Small Batch Ice Cream’. This joint serves delish home-made ice-creams in some really unique flavours.
The owner, Pawan Jambagi, who hails from Bengaluru, brought this South Indian twist to ice cream with him- they serve ice-creams in cutesy hollowed-out coconut shells. This is really amazing as these guys are actually ditching plastic & paper and going green! In fact, not just their coconut shell idea but their ice creams are super fresh since they are made in small batches with fresh fruits only.
Flavours to Try
Jaatre has four categories to choose from – Sorbet, Classic, Two-of-a-kind, and Fresh Fruits. From the Sorbet, you should try out their Mango Red Chilli and Jamun Jeera. The Two-of-a-kind category we are itching out for their Black Pepper and Cardamom. And if you are that kind of a person who doesn’t want to experiment with your ice-cream, then you can try out Classic Vanilla and Chocolate. The best part is that they won’t cost you a bomb at all!
In addition to their unique idea and amazing homemade ice creams, the place has an open space where you can chill with your squad. Come swing by here for sure!Â
