Tucked in Ghitorni, Climb Central is a new indoor climbing gym that is the largest indoor climbing gym in town. With bouldering walls of up to 8 to 12 meters, you can climb the wall from one floor to another. We got in touch with Harshad Rao, Sales and Marketing Manager, who told us about the concept and said, “The vision of Climb Central is to make climbing a sport that is accessible to all and hence our motto – “Everyone Can Climb”. Climbing as a sport doesn’t have widespread recognition and most don’t even know that it is a real sport”.
From beginners to advanced students, they have excellent facilities for all types of climbers. And even if you don’t have prior experience of climbing, you can begin climbing from your very first visit only. Talking about the safety measures, the staff provides you with a quick briefing session to help you get ready for the climb.

Hardshad added, “Our facilities offer a mix of top-rope and auto-belays climbing. We can have over 100 climbers on our floor at any given time and that is a very large space. Something not seen yet in India! We have 7500 sq ft+ wall space, 38 lanes of climbing that are open so far”.
8 And 12 Meters Climb
If you are looking to work out or spend a fun day with your friends, then head to Climb Central. Once you here, you can choose to climb anywhere between 8 and 12 meters depending on your experience level and comfort. The place is unique in itself, talking about it Harshad said, “We are unique in our way of introducing the sport to beginners in a fun, friendly and safe manner. Our staff has been trained in Singapore and follow the same protocol as what is followed at each Climb Central facility. Be it Singapore, Manila, Bangkok or Delhi – the experience you get will be similar”.

Also, they host birthday parties and corporate outings as well. Their venue packages include the party area, rental of equipment, supervising climbers and their staff. “We offer climbing up to a height of over 40 ft. That’s like going up the side of a 4-storey building in Delhi! Or conversely, when you are at the top, looking down will be like standing on the balcony of the 4th floor of a building and looking straight down”.Â
