The university has been the breeding ground for many celebrities including King Khan, Big B and the brilliant Imtiaz Ali! Each college boasts of a list of its own. So, here are the names that you can flaunt, the next time you introduce yourself as a student of DU!

1. Aditi Rao Hydari – Lady Shri Ram College for Women

Lady Shri Ram College for women is among the best college of Delhi University. It boasts of a number of notable alumni and one among them is the royal beauty Aditi Rao Hyadari. Known for her roles in London Paris New York and recently in Baji Rao Mastani, Aditi is a full-fledged DU girl!

2. Siddharth Malhotra – Shaheed Bhagat Singh College

Mr SOTY Siddharth Malhotra is a true blue Delhi boy which obviously means he too has a DU connection. Sid is a graduate from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. Who knew this Delhi boy is going to go on to win many hearts!

Sanya Malhotra, the curly-haired actress who played Babita Phogat in Dangal was born and brought up in the capital city. This Dilli ki ladki is a graduate from Gargi College and she also went back to attend the annual cultural festival at her alma mater back in 2017!

4. Rakul Preet Singh – Jesus and Mary College

Rakul Preet Singh who debuted with the movie Yaariyan and was recently seen opposite Ajay Devgn in De De Pyaar De is still a Delhi girl at heart! An alumna of Jesus and Mary College, Rakul did her graduation in Mathematics (Hons). Smart girl, isn’t she?

5. Angad Bedi – St Stephen’s College

The heartthrob hottie who recently became a father to a beautiful baby girl is also DU boy! In fact, he was admitted into St Stephen’s one of the most prestigious colleges of DU through the sports quota and was known to be a pretty disciplined student! Who would’ve thought?

6. Sanjana Sanghi – Lady Shri Ram College for Women

Remember the rebellious young girl who played Nargis Fakhri’s younger sister in Rockstar? Good news is that she’s finally going to make her own debut at the end of this year and guess what? Sanjana is actually a Delhi girl herself. She completed her graduation in Journalism and Mass communication from Lady Shri Ram College for women!

7. Nimrat Kaur – Shri Ram College of Commerce

The gracious and gorgeous Nimrat Kaur who stood out for her role in The Lunchbox and a ton of other great Bollywood film is also a notable alumnus of the Delhi University. An army kid, Kaur did her bachelors in commerce from the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce a.k.a. SRCC!

8. Richa Chadha – St. Stephen’s College

Critically acclaimed for her role in Masaan and popularly known as ‘Bholi Punjaban’ because of her role in Fukrey, Richa Chadha is also a former DU girl! The unconventional actress completed her graduation in History (Hons) from St. Stephen’s College in 2005.

9. Huma Qureshi – Gargi College
