Because Bangalore is getting what is being touted as Asia’s largest liquor boutique. (Yes, that is absolutely a thing!)
Tonique, Asia’s largest liquor boutique will span across 30,000 sq ft.
The fancy building that once used to be Jewel’s de Paragon (the jewellery store whose owner was arrested for cheating) is now going to house Tonique. It’s going to be your one-stop-shop for the best alcohol in the city! Prepare yourselves to be lost amidst the spirits, quite literally! Why? Because this place, at 30,000 sq ft, is going to be spread over two floors! It could even expand to four levels by the end of the year!
You can expect uber-stylish interiors
We say this because Anith Reddy, the Hyderabad based entrepreneur and Tonique’s founder believes buying alcohol should be an experience. With hardwood floors, aroma oil diffusers and subtle mood lighting, we assure you this is going to be one hell of an experience! You can even get to interact with sommeliers and brewmasters. What else do you even need?
A Floor Dedicated to Only Wine!
This place will also have a separate floor dedicated to some of the finest wine there is to offer! With 1,000 different labels including champagne, Tonique also promises a 600 sq. ft wine-tasting room that will host events. Along with a bakery that will serve fresh liqueur chocolates and other delicacies, and a cheese section!
What’s more, the spirits section will stock 600-700 labels. There are also plans to have around 40 beer labels, as well as 10 varieties of tonic water!
Tonique sure sounds like the kind of place we’d want to go liqueur shopping! For all those residing in Mumbai, worry not, because the company has already finalized a 10,000 sq. ft location on Linking Road. And Dilli wallahs, there’s a store on the cards in the capital city as well!
