Tucked in Gurgaon, Sixteen Grams Coffee is the brainchild of brother-sister duo Karan and Sheena. And they promise to serve you the right quantity of caffeine and at the perfect temperature. We spoke to Karan, who told us the mystery behind the name of the cafe.
“For a good espresso shot, 16-20 gms of the coffee dose is used. When Sheena went for her barista training in Rome, she pulled her first espresso shot using 16 grams of coffee. The intriguing name – Sixteen Grams helps us make the curious ones aware and explain to them what speciality coffee is about and why precision matters”, he added.

Showcasing the unique range of coffees, Sixteen Gram Coffee has some of the nicest brews for you to satiate your caffeine cravings. It’s a cosy and comfortable place with free WiFi access to all the customers. Their menu includes a bunch of yummy accompaniments to your cuppa like Pesto Bocconcini, Mushroom and Bbq Tofu. You can also pair it with mouthwatering waffles like Nutella and Banana. Karan added, “People love the Avocado & Feta open toast and Mushroom on Toast with Pink Hummus. Mushroom Brie Sandwich has been a hit since we began operations. One can also find Salads – quinoa and Beetroot Summer salad, Pasta and Waffles on the menu”.
