So we got in touch with popular travel blogger Larissa D’Sa who’s Insta feed will make you pick up your bags and head to one of the beautiful destinations! She is a content creator from Mumbai-Thane and works as a content creator with GoPro. And she gets to travel all around the world as a part of her job! In an exclusive interaction with us, Larissa spoke about her travel experiences, some amaze travel hacks, why one must travel and more.

Hi Larissa. Can you tell us how did you get into travel blogging?
I started travel blogging in 2016-2017 as an experiment. I loved documenting and still do to this day and wanted to show the world the fun, quirky side of me while on the move. The one thing I absolutely love is that I get to showcase various cultures of the world and I feel like it brings such a connect in the hearts of people.

I have travelled to plenty of places like Bangkok, London, Jodhpur, Nagaland, Australia, Florida, Goa, UAE and many more. But by far my favourites have been Maldives, Canada, Lisbon for the sheer, unparalleled natural beauty along with a mix of culture.
Great! We’re sure you know some great travel hacks. Can you tell us about them?
I think it isn’t any secret but I’d advocate to research well, pick smart flights and know your destination well. This is by far the most important step you should take up while planning any vacation. If you already know about the customs of the place and how things work there, you can prepare yourself accordingly.
The world is divided into two kinds of people- beach lovers & mountain lovers- which one are you?
I’m a Beach baby forever! My favourite beach destination is the Maldives. The beauty of the ocean there is limitless! The water is crystal clear and the underwater sightings are incredible.
But I also love the mountains, they are the escape from the daily hustle for some quiet. For that Alberta, Canada is my go-to place. One of my favourite spots in Alberta would be Lake Moraine, it’s surreal! It’s turquoise in colour and so unadulterated that it makes one go speechless at first sight.
Any destinations which are in your bucket list which you haven’t visited yet?
The Bahamas has been on my bucket list for a very long time. Blue Lagoon Island, Pink Sands Beach, Cable Beach are some of the places that I want to explore. I’m a beach baby so I want to explore all the beaches there and make great content.
Amazing! As you’d know, 27th September is celebrated as World Tourism Day. Being a traveller yourself, why do you think travelling is important?
One must travel to know your innermost truest self! Travel makes me happy. And happiness is the kind of luxury I’d want forever. Nothing beats the happiness travel gives me!
