Arunachal Pradesh’s Ziro Valley has got to be the best-kept secret in the state. This picturesque valley has also been shortlisted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Another reason which makes the place is amazing is the Ziro Music Festival, which happens every year. This year it’s taking place from 26th to 29th September. It’s a vibrant festival with art, music, and culture that brings some of the best musical talents of India together.
The Ziro Festival of Music is the brainchild of Bobby Hano and Menwhopause (band) guitarist Anup Kutty and was conceived back in 2012. Spanning over 4 days, the festival is hosted by the Apatani tribe of the Ziro valley, one of the most picturesque locations in the state. We got in touch with Bangalore based photographer Mohit who shared some amazing stills from last year’s Ziro Music Festival. And going by these pictures, it seems this year’s fest is also going to be lit!
