To build this station, located at one of the busiest intersections in the city, i.e., Ashram, The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) had to fight several land acquisition battles. Due to this, the station box had to be redesigned and reduced considerably from 265 metres to 151 metres. Still, kudos to Delhi Metro for providing such excellent connectivity despite restrictions. After all, it’s the lifeline of our city, isn’t it?
