The month of Chaitra, that begins in April, is considered as holy for Hindus. It marks as the beginning of the lunar year and is celebrated as Ugadi, Vishu, Baishaki, Gudi Padwa and more. Gudi Padwa is a Maharashtrian festival that is celebrated on the first day of the Chitra month. While Ugadi is the New Year’s Day for the people Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka people. The festival will be celebrated on 25th March this year.
